About Hearth & Clay Studio

Hearth & Clay Studio creates wheel-thrown stoneware ceramics designed for everyday use. The work is simple, tactile and quietly elegant, with a focus on mugs, bowls, jugs, vases and small homeware pieces that feel good in the hand and sit naturally in the home.

Each piece is thrown, trimmed, dried, fired, glazed and finished in small batches. I work with soft neutral glazes, speckled clay bodies and calm earthy tones inspired by old kitchen shelves, coastal walks, garden herbs and slow mornings at home.

My ceramics are made to be used, not just displayed. Mugs are comfortable to hold, bowls are practical for daily meals, and vases are designed to suit simple seasonal flowers. The aim is to make useful objects with warmth, texture and character.
